4-H volunteers are the
foundation of our great program. They come from all walks of life and from
every geographic location. Volunteers bring enthusiasm, energy and skills and
knowledge to the 4-H program. There is a host of volunteer activities just
waiting for you to explore. Take some time to browse so that you feel
comfortable in your role as a 4-H Volunteer.
How do I become a 4-H
Leader?
· 4-H leader training is a requirement of
being a 4-H volunteer. All volunteers are required to participate in a
training workshop within 12 months of becoming a volunteer,while existing
volunteers must attend a workshop within every two years thereafter, or more
frequently as per local Association policy.

you provide will be used to inform you of 4-H programs, activities and
opportunities in your area. It may also be used to keep you up to date on the
activities of the Ontario 4-H Council and
the Ontario 4-H Foundation, including programs, services, special events,
funding needs and opportunities. If at any time you wish to be removed from

The 4-H Program is open to all
youth in Ontario who are at least 10 years old and no more than 21 before January 1st of this calendar
year (born in the years 1988-1999 inclusive.)
