Become a Waterloo 4-H Member!

There are many benefits to becoming a 4-H member, including:

Opportunities… conferences, camps and scholarchips

 

*       Members must be between the ages of 10 and 21 before January 1 of the current calendar year. Clubs are required to have a minimum of six eligible members and one volunteer per club. A minimum of 12 hours of meeting time is recommended per project.

*       Each club must organize a program of interest to the members and present it to the public at its Achievement Program. Each member is to have an active part to play in this program.

If you are interested in becoming a 4-H member, please follow these steps:

  1. Call Kim McKenzie, Waterloo 4-H Association Contact at 1-877-661-6667, and tell her “I would like to be a 4-H Member!”
  2. Kim will put you in touch with one of our many, quality, innovative 4-H club leaders.
  3. Attend six meetings (12 hours of meeting time) on each club project, and participate in an achievement program.  Membership fee is $50.
  4. Enjoy making new friends while you learn great new skills and have fun!

The 4-H Program is open to all youth in Ontario who are at least 10 years old and no more than 21

before January 1st of this calendar year (born in the years 1988-1999 inclusive.)
