The Eat to Give Program And the Gas Up to Give Program Waterloo’s answer to membership fees The Waterloo 4-H Association is pleased to offer an exciting new fundraising
initiative which will raise money for the 4-H program in Waterloo, as well as
pay membership fees for our members. The "Eat to Give" program is
administered by the Community
Charity Services in Elmira, and has been very successful in
raising funds for many charities, including churches, youth organizations,
and service groups. How the Program Works Step 1: Grocery card (or gift
certificate) issued to enrolled participant at the beginning of each month. 3.5% of the card value goes to Waterloo
4-H. Step 2: Payment is made by
convenient pre-authorized payment (exactly the same way you may pay your
monthly utility bills.) Step 3: Card holder makes regular
monthly grocery purchase throughout the month using the grocery card /
certificate as payment. Step 4: A new card / certificate
is issued once again, at the beginning of each month. This continues on an on-going basis,
calendar year after calendar year. By committing to a
minimum of $250./month for one year, your son’s/daughter’s membership will be
paid. Of course, the more you sign up
for, the more you will make for Waterloo 4-H!
